Kambo Kambo is a traditional shamanic ritual using the secretion of the Amazonian giant monkey frog. It is applied to small burns on the skin and is believed to cleanse the body, boost energy, and release emotional blockages. Under expert guidance at our retreat, Kambo sessions are conducted safely, offering a powerful yet supportive healing experience. Sananga Sananga consists of medicinal eye drops made from the roots and bark of the Amazonian tobacco plant. Used ceremonially, it aims to clear vision on physical, emotional, and spiritual levels, sharpening senses and promoting clarity. Our trained facilitators administer Sananga in a caring environment, guiding you through the process and explaining what to expect. Rapé Rapé (pronounced “ha-pay”) is a sacred snuff traditionally made from tobacco and other medicinal plants, used by indigenous tribes for grounding and clearing the mind. At our retreat, Rapé sessions are offered in a guided, safe setting where participants gently inhale the snuff through the nose under supervision, fostering mindfulness, focus, and a deeper connection to oneself. All shamanic ceremonies will be held strictly outside of the retreat center. Please note that there is no association between the retreat center and the independent guides conducting these practices.
  • Are shamanic ceremonies safe?
Shamanic ceremonies are generally safe when conducted by experienced, reputable practitioners who follow proper safety protocols. We collaborate with independent shamanic guides who prioritize participant well-being. While all ceremonies are held off-site and operated independently of the retreat center, these guides ensure that the environment is controlled, health screenings are performed when necessary, and clear instructions are provided. Before participating, guests are encouraged to disclose any medical conditions or concerns, review safety guidelines provided by the ceremony leader, and give informed consent. As with any spiritual or alternative practice, individuals should listen to their intuition, consult healthcare professionals if needed, and communicate openly with both the retreat team and the guides to ensure a safe and meaningful experience.
